I never asked to become a princess. My plan was to graduate college and take over my uncle’s karate dojo. Instead, my parents dropped me off in a castle full of strangers, who are training me to become the next heir to the throne.

First, there’s King Cyrus. He’s sweet and old-fashioned, but a little clumsy and super OCD. If he doesn’t stop scheduling my bathroom breaks, I’m going to lose it.

Then there’s the brilliant and eloquent Prince Julian. He’s not charming at all, and won’t stop criticizing everything I do. He IS pretty cute when he smiles… which is almost never.

Then there’s the youngest prince, Nikos. He knows he’s charming and good-looking, and he knows how to manipulate a crowd. He keeps playing head games with me, and I’m about to lock him in his sacred million-dollar closet.

But at least I have Evann. He’s one of the guards at the castle, and his older-brother style guidance is the only thing getting me through these harsh princess lessons.

And on the really stressful days, I have Tai, the (gorgeous) castle musician. He’s spontaneous and mischievous, and his love for life is contagious.

But I want to go home. I’m bored, I can’t kick anyone, and there’s one major problem – I think someone in this castle is trying to kill me.
